In a natural
and safe environment, children live in rustic cabins
by beautiful lakeshores
with counsellors and 8-10 other children in their age group.

These are
very traditional camps,
many with over a century of experience. The private owners
take an avid interest in the child's experience with a personal
and direct dedication.

1:3 ratio of staff to campers, which means care for each child is personalized by enthusiastic and evaluated counsellors (many of whom have been previous campers and return year after year),most of them are trained and qualified as teachers or coaches in the American educational system.

Children choose from a wide variety of activities and sports.
The schedule consists of structured periods that will keep
them busy, learning and entertained. In the evenings there
are social events, such as bonfires, storytelling, talent
shows…and other age appropriate group activities
Most camps provide these activities:
Sports: swimming, windsurf, sailing, archery, lacrosse, water-skiing, kneeboarding, tubbing,fishing, canoeing, archery, tennis, baseball, soccer, basketball, hockey, riding, golf....
Camp Activities:
photography, arts, jewellery, dance, music, drama, aerobic, yoga, digital video, woodwork,
drama, photography, radio….
Outdoor Activities:
Hiking, overnight camping trips, canoeing, rafting, ropes
courses, climbing… day excursions to nearby destinations
such as historical towns and beaches.
At all times children are guided and supervised by trained,

them, supporting and fostering achievement.
